Tonja Torgerson has her M.F.A. in Printmaking from Syracuse University, and B.F.A. in Studio Arts, minor in Art History, from the University of Minnesota. She was the 2014/15 Arts Center Printmaking Artist in Residence, and has accepted the inaugural position of Print Studio Fellow at the Lawrence Arts Center.

This course is designed to introduce students to a wide variety of printmaking processes. Students will explore traditional methods such as relief and intaglio; and also experiment with more contemporary methods. Methods covered may include but not be limited to; Relief, Monoprint, Intaglio, collagraph, Digital/Hybrid Combinations. This class is open to all levels of experience.
