Yellow Submarine 1st-2nd

1st - 2nd Grades

Fueled by rainbows, love, flower petals, and the spirit of The Beatles, come explore the wonders of the oceans in our magical yellow submarine. Inspired by the whimsical, colorful, and psychedelic artwork of the 1960s, this is a different approach to marine biology and oceanography. Using art principles of color, patterning, and texture, we will create Peter Max-ish marine life drawings, bio-luminescence paintings, and an amazing coral reef sculpture. After all, wouldn?t we all, rather be under the sea, in an Octopus? garden in the shade.
