Arcade 3rd-5th

3rd - 5th Grades

It's on like Donkey Kong! This entire week is devoted to creating a playable, cardboard arcade in the lobby. Each student will work on their own or with friends to create a kinetic sculpture that can be a part of the arcade at the end of the week. STEAM concepts focus on forces, motion, and engineering and will ensure each game works. Using the backdrop of the 1980's, artwork will be big, bold, brash, and definitely neon. At the very end of the week we will open our arcade to the public to play games galore. No quarters, just imagination.
