Alicia Kelly was born and raised among the red dirt and wildflowers of northeastern Oklahoma. Her love of paper developed alongside her love of Indian textiles and screen-printing which lead her to the meditative practice of paper-cutting. Since receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking in 2010 from the University of Kansas, she has exhibited in numerous galleries, non-profit and flash spaces- including Stumptown Printers (Portland), Spencer Museum of Art (Lawrence, KS) and Hongik University (Seoul, South Korea).
